Sponsor OpenVoiceIndex
OpenVoiceIndex helps developers answer two questions before they self-host a speech model: will it run on my hardware? and can I ship it commercially?
Who reads it
- ML and backend engineers choosing an open-source TTS or STT model for a product, often comparing self-hosting against an API.
- Hobbyists and Home Assistant users running voice on a Raspberry Pi, N100 mini-PC, Mac or gaming GPU.
- Voice-agent builders checking streaming, latency and license terms.
Honest numbers
The site launched in October 2026 and is small. We don't publish inflated traffic claims: ask us and we'll share our real Cloudflare Web Analytics numbers (privacy-friendly, no cookies) and outbound click counts. Right now we have 40 models, 30 model × device pages and 5 models benchmarked by us. The weekly newsletter hasn't launched yet.
What's available
- Sponsor slot: one clearly labelled "Sponsored" box on model, hardware and comparison pages, and in the picker.
- Newsletter sponsorship: once the weekly email launches.
- Featured listing: model makers and hosting providers can pay for a "Featured" badge, or to have their model benchmarked sooner. Featured items are always labelled.
What's never for sale
- Rankings, picker results and benchmark numbers can never be bought. A sponsor's model is measured with the same harness and published even when the results are unflattering.
- Featured or sponsored placements are always labelled, and never change sort order or evidence levels.
- Facts stay sourced. We correct errors for anyone, sponsor or not.
